Teenagers representation through time

Early on teenagers representation became negative because whilst men were out at war, teenagers were left having more power, this made older people annoyed creating the first negative representation.
This then carried on as the 'mods and rockers' came along which took another negative look at this age group, they were crazy and reckless and thoughtless.
Later on clubbing and drugs became more of a problem creating a more noisy and destructive look to teenagers.
Social media then took over; phones, addictions, no socialising, bbm linked with london riots.

This article from bbc news shows a right wing side of the news, it is more negative as it uses words such as 'arson and violence' in the headline which shows the negative side to the riots and the teenagers.

This article shows a more left wing side as it has a less negative view as it is actually written by a rioter themselves so is obviously going to be more positive.
